Juan Felipe is an investor and the Chief Sales Officer at Aerial Technologies, a Canadian AI startup involved in the telecom industry. Previously, he was Senior VP of Global Sales for iBwave where he was a key driver of the company’s growth and ultimately its very successful sale to Corning Inc. in 2015. Prior to joining iBwave, Juan Felipe held executive sales positions at IRphotonics (acquired by Thorlabs Inc.), Averna Technologies (acquired by Tandem Expansion Fund), and EXFO (successful IPO in 2000). Juan Felipe holds a B.Sc., Honors in Chemistry, from Complutense University, Madrid, Spain, and an MBA from the School of Industrial Organization, Madrid, Spain. He has also completed executive programs from Harvard Business School (Boston), York University (Toronto), and McGill University (Montreal). Juan Felipe has lived and worked in Spain, Canada, Singapore, Brazil, Australia, and China; he is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
